From the Land of Lord of the Rings

New Zealand 2004

Learn now the lore of Living Creatures!
First name the four, the free peoples:
Eldest of all, the elf-children;
Dwarf the delver, dark are his houses;
Ent the earthborn, old as mountains;
Man the mortal, master of horses.

~ The Two Towers

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate
And though I oft have passed them by
The day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon and East of the Sun.

~ The Return of the King

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

~ The Fellowship of the Ring

Lake Tekapo

New Zealand 2004

Sometimes, do you not wish that you can escape from the concrete jungle, and delve into the tranquility of the country/cottage life? A place where you can indulge in the magnificence of nature, with clear running waters and fresh air.

Where your backyard is a garden of mountain lupins.

A myraid of colours that greet you every day.

A sight for cheer and joy.

This quote sure brings back memories. Back to my Cedar Prefectorial days =)

Water

New Zealand 2004

Water.
It’s amazing how such a simple compound would be so vital to human life.

I feel so small as compared to this magnificant waterfall.
But sometimes, don’t you just want to feel the raindrops falling on your skin while dancing in the rain?
